The definition of SPARKLE is to shine or glisten.
We have a goal as LadyBosses… to always be “Spreading SPARKLE”.
SPARKLE is basically the encouragement that you give to the people around you. Believe it or not, when you encourage others, it lifts and encourages YOU. I used to always wait around for people to encourage me, and it never happened. I was always looking for someone to give me that spark of belief that I needed in myself, and it never came…
So, one day I had the thought - “If I’m not encouraging others, how can I expect to be encouraged?” From that moment, I decided to set my focus on lifting others up and encouraging the people around me - WITHOUT expecting anything in return.
What I found was that it blessed me and inspired me more than I ever could have imagined! I found the more I Spread Sparkle to others, the more I personally felt encouraged!
Spreading Sparkle is kinda like a diamond. Diamonds take incoming light and reflect it outwards in all directions. And that’s what our goal is as LadyBosses, because when you put a bunch of diamonds together it amplifies the effect!

Encourage one woman in the LadyBoss Community by posting a thoughtful comment on someone's post. Encouraging others will also encourage you and help you develop relationships that will support you. Helping others and lifting others up has a seriously amazing way of lifting you up! Maybe it’s because giving is always better than receiving… And the more you give encouragement to others, the more you are going to feel yourself become inspired and encouraged!

As LadyBosses, it’s not only important to encourage one another INSIDE of our community but to also make an intention to Spread Sparkle OUTSIDE of our tribe.
Text a family member or friend each day and tell them what you love, honor, or appreciate about them. It doesn’t have to be a long poetic story - a simple “Hey, I was thinking about you this morning, and just wanted to tell you that I think you’re an awesome Mom!” - is perfect!
Doing this will help encourage the people we care about most and also make you feel great in return!
