Marinara Sauce & Noodles

Marinara Sauce - Created by LadyBoss Senior Coach Stefanie


INGREDIENTS:

1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes (or use diced tomatoes for chunkier sauce)

Salt and Pepper to taste

2 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoon olive oil

*For meat sauce: add 1 lb ground turkey

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In medium sauce pan, saute chopped garlic in oil until tender (add turkey meat and cook until brown)

2. Stir in Italian seasoning and canned tomatoes

3. Season to taste with salt & pepper

4. Cook until slightly thickened or about 15-20 minutes

PRO TIPS: 

*Add a couple handfuls of chopped spinach leaves for extra veggies!

* Recipe makes 4 servings...make extra and keep in Mason Jars for use all week!

Whole wheat pasta - serving size 1 cup
Jerusalem artichoke pasta - serving size 1 cup
Pasta Zero - serving size 1 cup
