SUBSTANCE is what fuels you and your body.

 

The definition of SUBSTANCE is: “Your essence or being, what you’re made of.”

 

Meaning; what you put in your body is what you’re made of.

 

So, What are you made of?

If we looked inside of your body right now, what would we find?

 

Are you toxic or clean?

Would your insides look dark and dingy or shiny and bright?

Internally is everything flowing and moving how it should or is it more like rush hour traffic at a standstill?

 

If your body could rate you on how well you take care of it, what score would it give you?

 

I know for me, my body would have given me a big fat ZERO.

Pretty much nothing that I put inside of my body was to fuel it… everything that I ate and drank was for my personal pleasure and not for the purpose of fueling my body for health or longevity.

 

I mean, I was eating drive thru twice a day and drinking 10 cokes a day at the time!!!

I thought I would NEVER be able to break those habits…

 

But before each meal and snack I started purposefully asking myself;

Is this food/drink Fueling my body for Purpose or Pleasure?

 

And even though I didn’t know much about nutrition at the time…

I always knew the answer.

 

As each day went on, I started making better and better decisions when it came to the foods, snacks, and things that I drank.

 

The goal here is to get you eating and drinking to fuel your body, so in return it can give you the energy, health, and the weight loss you want!

 

Because without the right fuel, it’s like filling your car’s gas tank with soda and expecting it to drive correctly! It’s literally IMPOSSIBLE!

You will receive a ½ point for completing the action of HYDRATION and a ½ point for completing the action of NUTRITION.

Totaling 1 Point for SUBSTANCE in your FOUR, each day.

 

SUBSTANCE: 1 Point

    Hydration = ½ Point

    Nutrition = ½ Point

 

Remember: The goal is to total 4 Points for The FOUR at the end of each day!

 


 


HYDRATION

DRINK 1 GALLON OF WATER A DAY: ½ Point

 

Your body is made up of 60% Water! And most of us go through our day having very little of it or NONE at all!

 

I was one of those people! I seriously never drank water, and honestly - no wonder my body was so sick and in pain all the time!

 

75% of people walk around chronically dehydrated, which causes them all kinds of problems that most don’t even know are due to lack of water!

 

  • Increased thirst

  • Dry mouth

  • Fatigue

  • Urine is yellowish

  • Headaches

  • Dry skin

  • Dizziness

  • Lack of Focus

NUTRITION

Consume A Meal Shake & A Healthy Meal A Day: ½ Point

 

Nutrition is usually the part that freaks everyone out. It’s the big, scary, sleeping monster that everyone tries to tiptoe around without disturbing.

 

At least that’s how I used to see it.

 

But in reality, it’s simple.

 

You are what you eat.

You feel how you eat.

And your body becomes the sum of what you eat.

 

Even though I knew all of this to be true, it was super unrealistic to believe that I was going to go from eating from the drive thru twice a day and just jump straight into meal prepping all of my food and eating 3 healthy meals a day!

Bringing me to the second action of SUBSTANCE.
